Privacy Policy
Last updated:
Important: HAVS Manager is currently in pre-launch. At this stage, the only personal data we collect is your email address when you join our early access list. This policy reflects that limited scope and will be updated when the full product launches.
1. Who we are
HAVS Manager is a software product operated under the trading name HAVS Manager ("we", "us", "our"). We are the data controller responsible for any personal data collected through this website.
If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, please contact us at: support@havsmanager.co.uk
2. What data we collect and why
At present, we collect only the following personal data:
| Data | Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | To send you early access updates and launch communications about HAVS Manager | Consent — you actively opt in by completing the early access form and ticking the consent checkbox |
We do not collect any special category data, financial information, or data from children under the age of 18. We do not use your email address for any purpose other than those described above.
3. How we collect your data
We collect your email address directly from you when you complete the early access sign-up form on this website. Submission of that form — and ticking the consent checkbox — is the only way we collect personal data at this stage.
We do not purchase, rent, or otherwise obtain personal data from third-party sources.
4. Third-party processors
We use the following third-party service to store and manage your email address. This service acts as a data processor on our behalf and is contractually obligated to handle your data only as we instruct.
Brevo (formerly Sendinblue)
Email marketing and contact management platform
Brevo is operated by Sendinblue SAS, 7 rue de Madrid, 75008 Paris, France. Brevo is GDPR-compliant and processes data within the European Economic Area (EEA). For more information, see Brevo's Privacy Policy.
We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to any other third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. International data transfers
Your email address is stored on Brevo's servers, which are located within the EEA. The UK has recognised the EEA as providing an adequate level of data protection, so no additional safeguards are required for this transfer.
We do not transfer your data to countries outside the UK or EEA.
6. How long we keep your data
We will retain your email address on our early access list until one of the following occurs:
- — You unsubscribe using the link included in every email we send
- — You request that we delete your data (see Your Rights below)
- — We determine it is no longer necessary to retain it
We will not retain your data for longer than is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
7. Cookies
This website does not use any tracking or analytics cookies. The Brevo sign-up form may set a small number of functional cookies necessary for the form to operate correctly (for example, to prevent duplicate submissions). These cookies do not track you across other websites and are not used for advertising.
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other third-party tracking technology at this time.
8. Your rights under UK GDPR
Under UK data protection law, you have the following rights in relation to the personal data we hold about you:
Right of access
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you at any time.
Right to rectification
If the data we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you can ask us to correct it.
Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
You can ask us to delete your personal data. You can also do this immediately by unsubscribing via the link in any email we send.
Right to restrict processing
You can ask us to temporarily stop using your data while a concern is resolved.
Right to data portability
You can request a copy of your data in a commonly used, machine-readable format.
Right to withdraw consent
Because our processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. This will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before your withdrawal. Simply unsubscribe from any email we send, or contact us directly.
To exercise any of the above rights, please contact us at support@havsmanager.co.uk. We will respond within one calendar month.
9. How to make a complaint
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please contact us in the first instance at support@havsmanager.co.uk and we will do our best to resolve your concern.
If you remain unhappy, you have the right to make a complaint to the UK’s data protection supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
